On May 4th 2007 a group of TIEC I, II and III participants was invited to attend the workshop “Shaping the Way We Teach” conducted by Ms. Jöelle Uzarski , the Regional English Language Officer (RELO) for Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Uruguay and Paraguay.

During the workshop Ms. Uzarski presented a brand-new video-based teacher training series. The course consists of fourteen self-contained modules that deal with a variety of ELT issues such as language awareness, learning strategies and assessment among others.

Apart from being a valuable opportunity for professional development, we had the pleasure of meeting other TIEC participants from all over the country.

Dear María Elena, Clara, Paola, Jesica, Sol and Alejandra,
It was a pleasure to share this experience with all of you. Let’s keep in touch and keep it going! – Carla
