As regards the weather, this is a great time to visit Austin. Even though it’s winter now, the average temperature during the day is 15 to 20 ºC. Have a look at the photos! A t-shirt and a light jacket were enough. However, early in the morning and in the evening it’s usually colder (about 5ºC).

I teach at secondary and tertiary levels, and the Ministry has proposed me to organize a new English Teaching Career for this year (profesorado) in my town, so I’m working hard on this project.

Carla, a question: What’s the weather like in Austin in February? Because of the warm clothes I have to take there. ( I don’t like carrying too many clothes or suitcases!)

I know what it feels like when “impossible” or what seemed to be “unlikely dreams” come true. And, you know what? It’s no coincidence. We all have worthy views or special talents to share with the world. This is just the right chance to make them known.

Unfortunately, I’ve never been to Jujuy, but I’d love to. What levels do you teach?

I know we all approach this kind of experiences in a different way so, I can only tell you about the way I feel about it. Since this is a multicultural exchange, I think we should be really open-minded and ready to share the experience with all the people who are involved. Don’t be afraid to reach out to them and make plans to keep in touch.
Communication with colleagues worldwide is a sure path to professional development and ongoing cooperation. And… of course, have fun and enjoy every minute of it!
